Physical Wellness

A Holistic Approach to Senior Health

Physical
Domain of Healthy Aging

By age 75, about 34% men and 50% women engage in no physical activity.

Moderate activity helps maintain the ability to live independently and reduces the risk of falling and fracturing bones.

Activity does not need to be strenuous. Engaging in 15 minutes of daily activity can reduce the risk of death by notable percentages over several years

The Five Domains of Healthy Living

At Thrive Guides, we help you turn every day into an opportunity to thrive. Our Longevity Coaches meet at your home for a minimum of three hours: once, twice, or even three times per week. By providing personalized support and activity ideas across the five domains, they create a warm and pressure-free environment, organizing fun outings and activities at your pace and direction.

Physical Wellness

Activities, Health, and Well-Being. Longevity Coaches will assist you in developing personalized physical activities that range from gentle stretching exercises to short walks, ensuring that participants are always within their comfort and ability levels. The physical domain focuses on promoting mobility, balance, and strength, enhancing overall physical health and well-being, while respecting each individual’s unique needs and limitations.

Mental Wellness

Mindfulness, Stress-Reduction, and Relaxation. Longevity Coaches will work with you to curate well-being activities that cater to individual preferences, focusing on mental and emotional health, relaxation techniques, and mindfulness practices. The well-being domain is essential for nurturing a positive outlook, reducing stress, and fostering a sense of contentment, ultimately contributing to improved overall health and happiness in aging.

Social Outings

Out-of-Home Activities and Community Exploration. Longevity Coaches will collaborate with you to brainstorm and organize enjoyable and engaging social activities in the local community, promoting connections and a sense of belonging. The social domain is vital as it fosters meaningful interactions and friendships, combating social isolation, and enhancing overall well- being, contributing to a happier and more fulfilling journey.

Cognitive and Digital Functionality

Intellectual Stimulation, Agility, and Problem-Solving. Longevity Coaches will collaborate with you to design cognitive functionality activities that stimulate the mind, memory, and problem-solving abilities, tailored to their interests and abilities. The cognitive functionality domain is crucial for promoting mental agility, maintaining cognitive health, and enhancing brain resilience, empowering people to lead cognitively enriching and fulfilling lives as they get older.
